Tablet Repair in Fethiye

Tablet repair looks like phone repair scaled up, but it has its own habits. Bigger glass breaks easier and takes more patience to remove. Few shops in Fethiye handle tablets at all, which is why we see so many iPads used for months with spidered glass. Most jobs actually finish in the same time as a phone.

What we see most

Cracked glass leads. On most iPads the glass and the display are separate parts, so if the picture is fine only the front glass needs replacing, which keeps the cost down. Charging problems come second, tablet ports suffer because the cable stays plugged during couch and bed use. Batteries are third: tablet cells are big, and when they swell they lift the screen. Take a swollen tablet as seriously as a swollen phone, keep it off the charger and bring it in.

Timing and parts

Glass and batteries for common iPad and Galaxy Tab models are usually in stock or a day or two away. Glass swaps are mostly same day, sometimes next morning so the adhesive sets properly. Parts and workmanship carry our warranty, and diagnosis is free.

What sets the price

The first question is whether the glass and the display are separate or laminated together. On most iPads they are separate, which works in your favour because only the front glass is replaced. On some Air and Pro models the panel is laminated to the glass and both go together, which pushes the price up noticeably. Most Galaxy Tabs are laminated. The second question is size: a 12.9 inch panel costs more and takes longer to remove than an 8 inch one. Tell us the model number and we will give you a real figure over the phone.

Pencil and keyboard

Not every iPad that ignores an Apple Pencil is faulty. Sometimes the pencil battery is flat, sometimes the pairing has dropped. Where a genuine fault shows up after a screen job, the cause is usually a digitizer layer that does not read the pen properly, which comes down to the quality of the part fitted. The keyboard connector along the bottom edge also takes damage in drops. Bring the pencil and the keyboard with the tablet so we can test both before you leave.

School tablets

Term time brings a wave of these. Tablets slide off desks, get crushed in rucksacks, and get yanked around while plugged in. The two jobs that come out of it are cracked glass and a loose charging port, both same day work. September is the busy month in Fethiye and we stock accordingly.
