Motherboard Repair in Fethiye
Phones that will not switch on, will not charge or died suddenly can very often be saved. Board level repair is exactly this work.
"The phone is dead" is a sentence we hear every week, and a good share of those phones are not dead at all. A failed charging IC, a blown fuse on the display line, a cold solder joint from a drop months ago: one tiny component out of hundreds can silence the whole device. Board level repair means finding that component under the microscope and replacing it.
Why not every shop offers this
Screen swaps can be learned in weeks. Board work needs a microscope, hot air stations, micro soldering skills and the ability to read schematics, and it is learned over years. We are one of the few benches in Fethiye doing this level of work, which is why other shops sometimes send us their unsolved boards.
Your data comes first
Most customers with a dead phone care less about the phone than the photos inside it. Our workflow respects that: first we bring the device up just far enough to back up your data, then we talk about the permanent repair. In most dead phone cases the storage chip is untouched, the fault lives in the power circuitry, so the odds are better than they feel.
Fair billing
Diagnosis is free. If we repair and fail, you pay nothing. Payment happens in exactly one case: the device handed back working. If another shop told you the board is scrap, bring it for a free second opinion. We have returned plenty of "scrap" phones to their owners switched on.
What the microscope usually finds
Rarely anything dramatic. A cold solder joint that cracked in a drop six months ago and finally lost contact. A power management chip that gave up. Corrosion creeping under a shield from water that got in last summer. A capacitor shorted to ground, pulling the whole rail down. Once the faulty component is identified the repair itself is often quick; the finding is the slow part, and it is why board work is billed by outcome rather than by the hour.
Boards that have been in water
These are the hardest and the most common. Salt and mineral residue keeps corroding metal for weeks after the phone dried out, which is why a device that worked fine after a swim can die a month later. On these boards we clean first and diagnose second, because a layer of corrosion hides everything underneath. The odds drop the longer the residue sits, so a board that comes to us in days is a very different job from one that comes in months.
How long it takes
Longer than a screen and less predictable. A straightforward power fault can be found and fixed in an afternoon. An intermittent fault that only appears when the board warms up can take days, because we have to reproduce it before we can chase it. We give you a realistic window once we have looked, and we call you rather than leaving you wondering. If another shop has already been inside the phone, add time; we start by undoing whatever was done.
Frequently Asked Questions
How long does board repair take?
Diagnosis is usually same or next day. The repair itself runs from one day to a week depending on the fault, longer only if a rare IC must be ordered.
Can you guarantee my data?
No honest shop can. But in most cases the storage is intact and the fault is in power circuitry, and recovering data is always our first move.
What does it cost if the repair fails?
Nothing. You only pay for a working phone.
Another shop said the board is beyond repair. Worth a look?
Usually worth it. Free second opinion, and we have handed plenty of written off phones back to their owners working.
Can you recover my photos if the phone cannot be fixed?
Often yes. The storage chip usually survives when the fault is in the power circuitry, and data recovery is the first thing we attempt.
